3 Quick Workout Tips

Tip #1: Mix Up Your Workouts

Do not do chest and back every day. Your progress will soon flat line because your body will adapt to it. Mix up your workout routines and change up the style of working out that you do.

Combine compound functional movements with bodybuilding exercises to keep things fresh. The goal is to make your body work and constantly try to adapt to what you are doing. This is how you make faster progress.

If you are more into bodybuilding style of working out, then be sure to add weight the next time you do the same exercise, and change up the rep scheme.

Incorporate interval workouts, along with long endurance ones and heavy lifting to burn more calories and have a better overall looking physique.

Tip #2: Lift Weights

It will be VERY wise to start lifting weights if you are not doing so already. Lifting weights has many benefits, and it will help tremendously when it comes to getting lean.

Adding a little more muscle to your body will help burn more calories because muscle is an active tissue so it's constantly using energy.

As you get older the muscle on your body will start to decrease. If you don't have much muscle to begin with, then you really won't have muscle later on and that can be a problem. Not having adequate muscle on your body will lead to different pains and aches in your joints.

Tip #3: Don't Skip Conditioning

There are many benefits to incorporating conditioning (most people call it cardio) into your workouts, and you can click here to learn a few.

You don't have to do 30 minutes to an hour of conditioning. 10-20 minutes a few times a week will work. Running, biking, and rowing are all great conditioning exercises. I sometimes like to do all 3 and do 10 minutes at each one. Makes it easier.

If you are someone who is trying to bulk and is afraid that adding in conditioning will prevent from getting bigger, don't be. Adding in a small amount of conditioning a few times a week will allow you to still put on muscle and size all while enjoying the benefits of it.
